Dr. Youssef is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist, as recognized by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and an Associate Clinical Professor at NEOUCOM in Warren, OH. He has served on Trumbull Memorial Hospital’s Surgical Committee, and was the Chief of Gastroenterology at St. Joseph Health Center from 1997-2000.​​

Dr. Youssef completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Loma Linda University, in Loma Linda, California, and is a Board Certified Internist and Pathologist, having completed his residency at Western Reserve Care System in Youngstown, OH.​​

During the course of his training, Dr. Youssef received several honors, including Resident of the Year in 1989-1990 and 1991-1992, and a full scholarship during medical school training from 1972-1977 at Cairo ​University Medical School in Cairo, Egypt.

Dr. Youssef’s work has been nationally published on several occasions, and he has proudly participated in numerous research projects and lectures over the years. He assumed the practice in 1996, and continues to oversee the quality care and service received at all of the Gastroenterology Clinic & Endoscopy Center locations.
